The Leaves of Fall

 

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with another nature drawing! Since fall is coming, and it’s become my new favorite season, I decided to draw an autumn tree! It took a lot of effort, but I think it worked out well in the end! I was going to add some brown and yellow leaves, but I decided to leave those out because it didn’t look that good! Overall, I’m proud of this drawing and I’d love to draw more fall art like this! Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week!

Afternoon Tea

 

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with a still life drawing! If there’s one type of tea I’d like to try, it’s green tea! I don’t know much about what it tastes like, but I enjoy a good cup of tea every now and then! The tea took a bit of shading, as well as the plate the teacup’s sitting on! I had a bit of trouble drawing this, but I think it looks okay! There’s actually a story behind what got me into tea! It was the day after Mother’s Day, and I had caught a really bad case of the stomach flu, so when my Grandma called the doctor, they advised that I drink some tea every five or fifteen minutes. And so, my love for tea was born, and I lived to drink more cups of it! Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week!

Summer Night

 

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with a more detailed nature drawing! It was inspired by a walk on the beach that I experienced two years ago. It was such a positive experience that I had to put it into a drawing I feel like I could’ve drawn the mountains better, but practice makes perfect, eh? Sunset of Summer

 

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with another nature drawing! Last week, when I was watching The Last Unicorn on Tubi, I saw a scene that was similar to this in the intro and I thought, “Hey! That would make a good drawing!” And so, here it is! I tried to put a lot of effort into this drawing, and I think it all paid off! Overall, I’m proud of this drawing, and I hope I can start to draw different things soon! The Fruits of Summer

 

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with a drawing of a fruit bowl! I was wondering if I should draw another nature art piece for this week, until I remembered that I drew a bowl of fruit for my art class back in high school, so I decided, “Hey, why not digitalize it?” And here’s this drawing! I feel like I should’ve made the mangoes a different shade of green, but I can always improve! Despite that, I had a little difficulty drawing this, but I think it turned out good! Snowy Day

 

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with another nature drawing! Since I’ve drawn more than enough greenery, I decided to switch over to a different season! This is supposed to be a snowy forest! I had a bit of trouble drawing the snow, but thanks to the different brushes I had, I was able to draw it! I could’ve drawn it better, but maybe someday, I can learn how! Overall, I had fun drawing this, and I hope I can draw more things that are different! Strawberry Milk

 

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with a still life drawing! I’ve fallen in love with strawberry milk lately, so I decided to draw that for my art blog! I took inspiration from milk cartons, and put it into this drawing. It took a bit of work to draw this, and I think it paid off in the end!
