Dancing Lady

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with another drawing I sold at the Art Festival last year. I was inspired to draw this because I was looking around on Pinterest when I saw this beautiful dress that I instantly fell in love with. I drew myself wearing it and picked a dancing pose to compliment it. I’m very happy with how this turned out and I’m planning to draw more pictures like this. Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week!

Rainy Days

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with another drawing that I drew for the Art Festival last year. What inspired me to draw this artwork was last year for Thanksgiving, we spent it at my Aunt’s parent’s house. I got to wear this beautiful green and gold-striped dress that I bought at Stein Mart. The dress reminded me of the Emerald City from The Wizard of Oz. It was really cold out, so I wore a black trenchcoat my Grandmother got for me the year before for Christmas. It was also a rainy day. I will see you again next week!

Welcome To The Show

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with a drawing of one of my original characters. I’d like to introduce Winslow. He’s a successful entertainer robot. He’s the star of his own shows and is a fun-loving gentleman. What inspired me to draw this picture is because last year my school was hosting a booth at the Art Festival where students show off their art. I sold this and a few other drawings at the festival and I made $40 off of two that I sold. This artwork was one of the two. I had a blast drawing this! I will see you again next week!

Koi Fish Pond

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with a digital drawing of a koi fish pond. I was inspired to draw this when my Grandmother was driving me home from school and we passed by this Japanese restaurant called Kobe’s. At the entrance and around the side, they have these lovely koi fish ponds. I was also inspired by a painting of koi fish that I saw in a doughnut shop that I go to sometimes. The lily pads were hard to draw but I’m thankful that I won’t have to draw them again for a while. It was a blast drawing this and I consider it to be one of my Magnum Opuses.

Before I go, let me introduce you to some of the characters because you will be seeing them again sometime. The TV head is one of my originals. His name is Winslow. He’s an successful entertainer. And the girl is my persona. I hope you enjoy this piece and I can’t wait to share another next week!
