Quite The Blast

 

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with something a little different! I know New Years was last year, but I felt like drawing some fireworks for this week! I messed around with different brushes to make some fireworks, and I think I did a good job with them! I also added some clouds in the background just to add some detail! It took me a few hours to draw this, and I think all that time paid off! I know it’s late to say this, but happy new year! I hope this year will be better than last year! Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with another drink! This one is supposed to be a watermelon margarita with mint leaves! While I was eating at the same restaurant my Uncle and Grandma were at last week, I noticed this placard that was advertising the same drink as pictured! So I used the placard as a reference and BOOM! This drawing was born! I didn’t know how to shade the watermelon at first, but I think it turned out good! Overall, I had drawing this and I hope that next week’s art can be just as good! Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week!

Drinking Night

 

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with something different! I was out with my Grandma and were were having lunch with my Uncle and he ordered a margarita! When it arrived, it came in this beautiful glass with green swirls in it! It was unlike anything we had seen, it was truly unique! So I got out my phone and took a picture and voilà! This drawing was born! I can’t really drink alcohol because of my medication, but I have to admit that it was really pretty! I think it was a lime margarita that my Uncle had ordered, but I can’t remember! The swirls were a little difficult, but I think they turned out okay! Overall, I had a blast drawing this and I hope I can draw more like it! Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week!

A Bushel of Roses

 

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with something that’s a little different. This week, I wanted to draw flowers, but I wasn’t sure how to go about it, until I thought of something that came from The Secret of Nimh. It was a rose bush! I used a combination of different brushes to draw the leaves, and I think that they turned out great! I’m a little proud of how this turned out, to be honest! I even tried to add shading to the background, which I think I could’ve done a different approach with it! Overall, I had fun drawing this and I hope I can draw something different next week!
