Rain Showers

 

 

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with a weather related art piece! It has been raining a lot down here in Texas which is great because we’re in a drought, and rain is my favorite weather. That’s what inspired me to draw this art piece! Drawing raindrops is easy unless you have an unstable brush, but I’m a perfectionist! I had a little difficulty with the autumn leaves, but I think they look great! Overall, I had fun drawing this and I’m looking forward to what I’m drawing next! Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week!

No Blog Update

Due to stuff that has happened in real life, there won’t be a blog update this week. I’ve had a tumultuous week that’s crazy than a rollercoaster at Six Flags. I’m sorry if this is an inconvenience to anyone, but I need this break. I’ll see you all next week!

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with a drawing of a bunch of balloons! I was listening to some ASMR the other day, and the artist was playing around with a balloon, and that’s how I got the idea for this drawing! I also learned how to shade them., and I’m very pleased with how they turned out! I had a little difficulty drawing the shapes of them, but I just kept erasing and outlining until they looked good! Overall, I had a blast drawing this and I’m looking forward to next week’s drawing! Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week!

Fruits of Fall

 

 

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with a fall related art piece! This year I got a couple pumpkins to put on my front door, one was short and the other one was tall, so I figured that it’d be a good drawing, so here it is! It took A LOT of blood, sweat, and tears to draw this, but I think it all paid off! I’d warn any artist that pumpkins/gourds are not easy to draw, so don’t feel ashamed to use references! Overall, I had a blast drawing this and I can’t wait for you all to see what I have planned next! Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week!
