Drinking Night

 

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with something different! I was out with my Grandma and were were having lunch with my Uncle and he ordered a margarita! When it arrived, it came in this beautiful glass with green swirls in it! It was unlike anything we had seen, it was truly unique! So I got out my phone and took a picture and voilà! This drawing was born! I can’t really drink alcohol because of my medication, but I have to admit that it was really pretty! I think it was a lime margarita that my Uncle had ordered, but I can’t remember! The swirls were a little difficult, but I think they turned out okay! Overall, I had a blast drawing this and I hope I can draw more like it! Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week!

A Bushel of Roses

 

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with something that’s a little different. This week, I wanted to draw flowers, but I wasn’t sure how to go about it, until I thought of something that came from The Secret of Nimh. It was a rose bush! I used a combination of different brushes to draw the leaves, and I think that they turned out great! I’m a little proud of how this turned out, to be honest! I even tried to add shading to the background, which I think I could’ve done a different approach with it! Overall, I had fun drawing this and I hope I can draw something different next week! Stop For Deer

 

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with another nature piece! I decided to do something a little different this week! I added a stop sign because while I was scrolling through TikTok, I found a picture that was similar to this and I thought, “I can draw that!” And that’s how this drawing came to be! Overall, I had a blast drawing this and I hope I can come up with something different next week! I think we can all agree that this year hasn’t been the best, but hopefully next year will be better! An Evening In The Forest

 

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with a brand new nature piece! I had no idea what to draw this week, until my Grandmother pointed out how beautiful the scenery looked from outside my window, and that’s when I thought, “Hey! There’s something that I can draw!” And that’s how this artwork came to be! I had a little trouble with the placement of the clouds, but I think they look good in the end! Overall, I had a blast drawing this and I‘d like to announce something. As some of you know, Christmas is next week, so there will be no new art! New art will be posted on New Years Eve! Bat Cat

 

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with an animal fusion! It’s a black cat with bat wings! I got inspiration for this because when I was on a call with my best friend, she was showing me pictures from Twitter, and one of them had black kittens wearing bat wing costumes, and I immediately fell in love and had to draw one myself! So bestie, if you’re reading this, here’s my bat-cat hybrid! I had a blast drawing this even though I had a little trouble with the bat wings, but I think it was worth it in the end! Christmas Ornament

 

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with something a little different! I was having art block again, but because the holiday season has just started and my Grandma loves Christmas, I decided to draw a Christmas ornament! I wish I could’ve done the shading a bit different, but there’s always a next time! While I had a bit of difficulty drawing this, I had fun and I hope I can come up with more holiday related art!
