Sunny Day

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with another scenic drawing because I’m a little stumped on what to draw next! When I showed this to my best friend, she said she loved it and that she saved it, which made me really happy! This picture wasn’t that difficult to draw, and I think I did a good job with the clouds and the hill in the background! Overall, I had fun drawing this! Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week!

Cool Desert

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with another scenic drawing! This time, it’s a desert at night time! Personally, I think I did a great job with the sand texture and the stars and clouds! The only thing I wish I could’ve drawn was the clouds [aerially covering the moon! But there’s always time to practice, huh? Despite how simple this drawing was, I had fun doing it! Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week!

Snowy Night

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with another simple drawing because not only did I catch art block, I’m also sick with a fever! I wanted to draw my carousel character Lewis, but I couldn’t come up with any ideas for him that I liked! I feel bad for not drawing my usual artwork for so long, but while I was chatting with a good friend of mine, I realized that I can draw whatever I like and branch out at any time! Overall, I’m proud of this simple, but scenic drawing, and I had fun doing it! Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week! Merry Christmas, and a happy new year!

No Art This Week

I have something important I’d like to announce. Since tomorrow is Christmas, there will be no drawing this week. I want to spend the holiday with my family and not worry about what I’ll draw next. So, sorry for no artwork! I suggest that you all do the same! Spend Christmas with the ones you live! Merry Christmas, and have a happy new year!

Let It Snow

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with a drawing that wasn’t from my art class! Yesterday was the final day for my second semester of college, but admittedly, I’ve been so lazy since I got out that I haven’t had the motivation to draw my normal artwork, so I drew something simple for now! I also tried to experiment with my style a bit, so that’s why the snowman looks soft, as my best friend described it! Overall, I had fun drawing this! Thanks for reading, I wish you a happy holiday, and I will see you again next week!

Self Portrait

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with my last assignment for my art class! Since my college semester ends next week, I’m going to admit that at first it was hard for me, but then it eventually got easy! I even had a little fun with it! We had to type a description to go with it, so here’s what I wrote!

For my self portrait painting, I chose the element of love as it best describes my personality. Love is what my entire life is centered around. I have a friend group that I love hanging out with every week, and I have a family that has loved and supported me for the past 20 years of my life. But one factor that can center around love are my special interests. For as long as I can remember, fictional characters have always been in my mind, “rent free” as the cool kids call it. From morning to night, I’m always thinking about them. When I’m not thinking about them, I’m looking forward to going out with my family, and making plans for when me and my friends can hang out. All three of these are what make me happy in life, and I’m thankful to have them all!”

Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week with the return of my tablet artwork!

The Sound of Music

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with another painting for my art class! This week, we had to visualize a new genre of music with our own choice of genres! Mine was dubstep, pop, and classical! It too a bit of work to paint this, but I’m proud of how it turned out, overall! Next week should be my last week of college, so there’s going to be one last painting and then I’ll be back to drawing my regular artwork! Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week!
