Winslow’s New Clothes

Hello! Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with a drawing of my character, Winslow, wearing some fancy clothing I saw online. I was feeling creative one night, so I drew him wearing that outfit and it fits him like a glove, don’t you think? I had a blast drawing him like this, and I want to draw him wearing more different outfits. Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week!

Anime Cat

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with a drawing of an anime cat that was based off of a plush that I bought off of Amazon last year. I named the plush Mews, because I was inspired by Stranger Things. I used anime and manga cats as a reference for this artwork. It was difficult to come up with the color for the original sketch, but I was able to finally decide on one! Overall, I still had fun drawing this artwork! Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week!

New Haircut

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with a drawing of my persona with a different hair cut! What drove me to draw this was because I was having a very rough week, and I felt like I didn’t know who I was anymore. So, in order to cope, I looked up hairstyles for women, and I chose one that I liked, and drew it on my persona! It made me feel a lot better, but I’m still questioning who I am. Overall, I had a blast drawing this. Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week!

Ernest The Homeless Mouse

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with a drawing of one of my older original characters. This is Ernest. He’s a homeless mouse that’s trying to find a home. I came up with his concept a few years ago. I think it was around Christmas? His scarf was inspired by a shirt that I own that has a similar pattern. I can’t really remember how I came up with him, I just kinda like mice and he just walked right in the door. Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week!

Winslow Doing The Splits

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with a simple drawing of my character Winslow doing the splits. What inspired me to draw this artwork was one day I was talking to a friend about Winslow and they made me come up with the idea of him doing the splits! Another reason why I wanted to draw this was because I found it fitting for Winslow’s character to do something like this. He’s a happy-go-lucky entertainer, so he has his own way of entertaining the audience. I’m very pleased with how this drawing came out. I’m especially proud of the simple background. Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week!

Christian’s Evil Glare

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with a drawing of my villain character, Christian! What inspired me to draw this was that famous scene from Psycho where Norman Bates smiles creepily at the camera. I'm amazed that I was able to draw this because I didn't even look at a picure of that scene as a reference! I just pictured it in my head. I'm very proud of this drawing and I hope I can draw more pictures like this! Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week!

My Original Character Walter

Hello, Olivia Rain here, and this week I return with a drawing of another one of my original characters! His name is Walter, and he’s a fishbowl object head! I came up with his concept because I thought I needed another character to make original art of for the Art Festival last year. I ended up not using him, because I had more content than I realized. Walter is a down-to-Earth guy that enjoys calm days on the beach. Whenever he feels a different emotion, a goldfish that corresponds to that emotion will swim out of the castle that’s in his fishbowl and go back in. Whenever he’s feeling multiple emotions, a school of fish will swim around in his bowl. My best friend was nice enough to help me come up with those ideas! Thanks for reading, and I will see you again next week!
